When Dan isn’t helping customers find their perfect RV to enjoy the great outdoors, he can be found traveling, hiking, and camping in the Adirondacks, or spending time with his family and friends.

Dan is a graduate of Siena College with a Bachelors in Marketing and Management.

James Bearcroft, or simply Bearcroft as he’s affectionately known in the office, is one of our stellar business managers who will help with getting you out the door with the RV of your dreams.

Outside the office, James enjoys camping in the warmer months and riding his snowmobile in the winter with his daughter. He also competes with his neighbors to have the best lawn on the street.

A published author who enjoys spending time with her family outdoors, Novalie is sure to help you find the right RV Rental for your next family trip!

She likes to read and write, garden, go hiking, camping, and fishing with her family. She feels blessed to be able to spend time with her family (maybe with some ice cream!) and be able to watch the wildlife, along with a stray cat or two, pass through her property on the weekends when they’re enjoying their time together.

Mike enjoys riding his Harley. Going camping with his wife,(4) kids and (3) dogs. Mike has been camping since a young child and has continued the tradition with his children. His goal vacation spots are Australia and New Zealand. Quote: “You miss 100% of the shots you that you don’t take.”

Steve began his RV Outfitter career with Alpin Haus in 2001. He brought business management experience and great customer service skills into the RV buying experience and his customers love his care, his concern for their RV needs and his personal followup with them. Steve and his wife Hilda grew up in Amsterdam, N.Y. then relocated to Broadalbin where they raised their children that attended Broadalbin-Perth schools.

When Steve is not hard at work he enjoys great restaurants, a relaxing day fishing and the special times having fun with his family and creating great memories.

Jake has been working at Alpin Haus for over 10 years and camping his whole life. Whether its fishing our local lakes or hiking in the Adirondacks, you can find him spending most of his time outdoors. Having traveled to over 30 of our nation’s most popular national parks as well as having camped at many of our local state parks, Jake is happy to help you plan a cross country journey or just a weekend in the Adirondacks.

Don brings with him a vast array of customer service attributes. He will strive to be fair, convenient and honest with anyone he has the pleasure of helping outfit their RV.

Don remembers going camping in his families tag-a-long as a child. Now he passes along this family tradition to his young boys, RJ and Matthew. Don enjoys golfing, bowling and being a part of the Marc Johnson 3J dirt modified race team.

Charles joined the Alpin Haus team in 2017. His career in retail and hospitality management has given him valuable customer service experience. Outside of work, Charles enjoys mountain biking, camping, hunting and fishing. His personal love for the outdoors and desire to help others make working at Alpin Haus a great fit!

CJ is happy to be the first person to welcome you to Alpin Haus RV of Amsterdam! She greets everyone with a warm and friendly smile and truly enjoys interacting with staff and customers. On her days off CJ enjoys antiquing, crafting, and repurposing furniture. She also loves camping with her husband and two sons.

Mary has been involved in title work for over 20 years along with being a notary. She loves spending time with her husband, two daughters, and five grandchildren. She enjoys reading and takes a yearly trip to Tennessee. Her family owns a few classic cars and loves to attend car shows. One of her favorites to drive is a '56 Fairlane!

Ollie has been involved with Alpin Haus as long as he can remember. Oliver was born July 3, 2020 and was eager to join the Alpin Haus family as soon as possible. His favorite part of working at Alpin Haus is the amount of belly rubs he receives on a daily basis and of course seeing all the customers that come in. Outside of work, Ollie enjoys spending time with his family as well as taking long walks and even longer naps.

Jonathan started working for Alpin Haus in 2006. He enjoys working with great people and selling fun! Jonathan likes to watch the Buffalo Bills in his free time.

Drew Tinger started working with the Alpin Haus team in March of 2018. Drew has been lucky enough to work in the RV and Boat industry for over 13 years. When he is not at Alpin Haus, he enjoys hiking, boating, running and enjoying the outdoors with his wife. He also enjoys historic areas and searching for new and interesting restaurants in the area. Drew is committed to excellent customer service and takes pride in giving his customers the best experience possible.

Paul is a native Rhode Islander who recently relocated to the area. When not at Alpin Haus, he enjoys spending time with his wife and their two daughters exploring new playgrounds. He takes pride in giving his customers the best experience he can and earning a customer for life.

Scott has worked at Alpin Haus since 1999. He has worked in many different departments including RVs, boats and snowmobiles. He enjoys camping with his wife and three children especially at Sunset Bay Campground and Marina on the Great Sacandaga Lake. He also loves to golf, watch super cross, listening to audiobooks and most importantly spending time with his family. Scott takes pride in helping his customers purchase a camper that will fulfill their needs for many years to come.

Art enjoys a good technical project – like maintaining his sport touring motorcycle, renovating his house, and restoring a ’74 Plymouth Road Runner.

In 2017 he married his best friend and beautiful wife Richelle, and in 2018 joined Alpin Haus.

Duane loves the outdoors! He likes spending his time fishing, hiking, and hunting. Before coming to Alpin Haus, Duane spent time in Maine as an executive chef. One of his dreams is to one day be able to attend the Super Bowl!

Patrick started working for Alpin Haus in 1992. He has sold many RVs in his career and his goal is to ensure that all customers have an honest and straightforward buying experience. His favorite thing about being an RV outfitter is that he sells fun!

2011. Geoff has a background in Sales Management.
Together his passion for serving people and his love of weekend camping brought him to his current outfitter position.

As a seasonal camper, Geoff enjoys hitting Adirondack Gateway Campground for weekends of fun and activities with his wife Heather, his son Matthew and their dog, Lily. Campfires, cookouts, and roasting starburst are his favorite part. Geoff and his family are huge St. Louis Cardinals fans.

Keith enjoys being outdoors year-round for fly fishing, skiing, and hiking. He also enjoys going to auto races and has restored numerous cars and trucks on the weekends.

Keith holds a degree in Business Administration and Drafting+Design, with a certificate in Marketing. Previously Keith was Sales Manager of the Year with various automotive dealerships and was Business Manager of the Year with Alpin Haus.

His favorite movies include My Cousin Vinny, A Christmas Story, Animal House, and Midnight Run.

Mark joined the Alpin Haus team in 2015. He enjoys fishing, hunting, kayaking, motorcycles and building his own fishing rods.

Asa started working for Alpin Haus in 2017. He joined the army right out of high school and was fortunate to spend several years stationed in Europe. He loves working for Alpin Haus because of the great family friendly environment. He also loves his job because he gets to be apart of some of the fondest memories campers will experience for years to come.

Mike started working for Alpin Haus in 2014. He enjoys RVing, boating and classic cars. Working for Alpin Haus is enjoyable for Mike because of the great relationship he has with his coworkers and customers. He loves hearing about all of the fun trips his customers have been on in the RV he has helped them purchase.

Dave joined Alpin Haus in 2024 as a new career path—getting back into retail after being in the corporate life for 25 years. He is excited to use his RV experience to help find what works best for families to create great memories and make the most of their time off. When not working, Dave loves to fish, listen to music, and spend time with his wife, their three girls, and golden retriever, Watson.

Cheryl joined the Alpin Haus team in 2024. She enjoys gardening, watching hockey, and listening to music. Cheryl has two sons as well as a dog that she rescued from a local shelter. She is a former teacher and recently moved to the area from Queens, NY.

Kyle started working for Alpin Haus in 2024. He and his wife, Priscilla, have two children, three dogs, and a cat that help keep things interesting in the Knef household. He enjoys taking trips to the beach, hiking, camping, and anything that might spark a new experience for the family. Kyle is also an avid golfer and loves to snowboard.

Amy is very passionate about animals and has been involved in animal rescue since she was a teenager. She loves the outdoors and grew up riding horses. In her spare time, she enjoys painting and even teaches a Pain-n-Sip class that benefits an animal rescue. She’s a devoted wife and proud mother of her some, Michael, who also works at Alpin Haus.

Mike is a proud father of two twin boys, as well as his pups Norman and Minta. When he’s not spending time with them, he enjoys playing the drums and riding around in his Corvette.
