With less than two weeks until our Grand Design-themed Spotlight Saturday event, we decided it’s the perfect time to start showing off these new 2026 Grand Design Transcend travel trailers! While there’s plenty of variety on the market when it comes to travel trailers, the Transcend brings a feeling that all of us campers have been searching for. Sleeping up to 12 people, here is why all of them are in for a great trip in the Transcend:
A Floorplan for Any Camper
The Transcend line, made up of the Transcend One, Transcend Xplor, and the original Transcend, has 23 floorplans that range from 16ft long, all the way up to 38ft long. In that range is a variety of different layouts, making sure no camper is left out! Not only can you sleep up to 12 in the largest model, but there’s multiple models that can be towed with just a half-ton truck or SUV. These models can start at just over $150 a month, making them an extremely affordable summer vacation option!
The Standard is More than the Standard
Power
The new standard that Grand Design has set for their Transcend line reshapes what your typical RV looks like. A 200-Watt solar panel, a 2000-Watt generator, and 12V refrigerator is the bare minimum you get with any Transcend, with many models including even more power than that. More power equals more freedom to adventure!
Comfort
Residential fiberglass insulation is used through each model, making sure it’s never too hot or too cold during your trip. On top of this, you also have high-capacity heating and air conditioning features, giving you a true year-long chance to camp! You’ll enjoy some more comfort when lounging on the various seating and hangout spaces, both inside and out. When you decide to call it a night, you’ll be sleeping on premier queen-sized bedding, helping you recharge for the next day of adventure.
Spend More Time Outside
Most Transcend models come with either an indoor/outdoor table, or an outdoor griddle, making it easier to spend more time outside on your trip. You also get an exterior JBL Bluetooth speaker, so you can get the tunes on and the family feeling good while you grill!
